This handmade vase asks that question. After being shot multiple times it's created a beautiful texture and shows the layers which are the essence of the clay body. 
The impact has created a moonlike surface inside and the thin layers of clay have peeled open. The clay is ripped into thin pieces, much thinner than could be created and survive the firing process if they were created by hand. 
It's glazed with a range called 'Blue Rain' this is an echo to the mystery which rain and the damp can bring to us, especially for those who have had to experience it in anger. 
This piece is not for everyone and it may conjure negative feelings based on your own personal experiences. 
Because the pieces in this particular range are based on my own personal experiences the number of items I will produce will be all completely unique.
Size: Approx 8" tall and wide.
Delivery is included in the price and will be fully tracked and signed for. 
Delivery outside the UK is possible but will be at an additional cost.
